Our Team

Neurophysiology Services Australia (NSA) is a Sydney based neurophysiology company specialising in intra-operative neuro monitoring (IONM) and is available to provide IONM for complex spine, vascular and brain surgeries in Australia and New Zealand.

Our team is lead clinically by our Chief Neurophysiologist with more than 18 years of IONM experience. She has worked with leading surgeons and neurologists in both surgical and clinical settings and is a member of various organisations including the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring (ASNM), American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and Australasian Association of Intraoperative Monitoring (AAIM).

All of our employees are:

  • Tertiary qualified, with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science/Biomedical Science degree or a degree in Neurophysiology.
  • A minimum of two plus years experience in IONM (most have 4+ years experience)
  • Members of the Association of Neurophysiological Technologists Australia (ANTA).
  • Have current NSW working with children checks
  • Have passed all of our internal training modules
  • Are fully equipped with all monitoring equipment and electrodes
  • Are fully professionally and medically indemnified

Neurophysiology Services Australia, provides the most extensive training program for Neurophysiology Technologists in Australasia. Our program is designed to further enhance the technologist's skills and expertise in intra-operative monitoring by providing intensive practical and theoretical assessments, plus regular and on going training with a Spine Surgeon, an Anaesthetist, a Neurologist and our Chief Neurophysiologist.
